CO2 removal at scale
Nourish the soil, Nurture the future
Our Mission
Empowering Farmers, Revitalising Agriculture, Enriching Soil
We transform organic waste into high-quality soil amendment. We help improve the lives of farmers by making them smarter with sustainable agriculture solutions which helps regenerate soil, increase carbon retention, and promote a more sustainable future for agriculture. improve crop productivity, and build resilient and regenerative agricultural systems

Our Impact

On Environment
The planet is at a critical point, where greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have significantly contributed to global warming. One of the most effective ways to mitigate this issue is by reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in the atmosphere. At Punarv we work to decarbonise the plant by using waste biomass.
With our technology we transform biomass into a valuable soil amendment which not only helps in mitigating climate change but also improves soil fertility, enhances water retention, and increases crop productivity. This makes it an environmentally sustainable option that supports both climate regulation and agricultural development.
It further supports waste management by converting agricultural and organic waste into a useful product, reducing open field burning of biomass and associated air pollution.

On Farming
Long-term and excessive use of chemical fertilizers has significantly degraded soil quality. Biochar helps regenerate soil health and fertility by improving soil structure, enhancing nutrient retention, and supporting microbial activity. This leads to increased crop productivity and reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers. Additionally, it improves water retention, also
helps restore soil pH balance, and enhances overall soil quality, enabling soils to retain more moisture which especially helpful in draught prone areas.
Biochar helps address multiple ecological and environmental challenges. It plays a key role in carbon sequestration by storing carbon in soil for long periods, reducing atmospheric CO₂ and mitigating climate change.

On Society
Over 60% of the world's population depends on the agricultural sector for their livelihoods.
Farmers today are caught in a double-edged sword. On one side, the cost of chemical fertilizers continues to rise every year, putting immense financial pressure on them. On the other side, excessive and long-term use of these same fertilizers is degrading the soil, leading to declining crop yields.
We at Punarv believe in inclusivity and knowledge sharing. Our biochar project breaks this cycle. We share our research and knowledge with local farmers helping them to regain the soil health and reduce dependence on costly inputs, giving farmers a path toward sustainable and profitable agriculture.
We help the local farmers by improving their crop yields and generate higher incomes, strengthening their livelihoods across the regions we serve.
CO2 Sequestration
High Quality and High Integrity
Cutting emissions is no longer enough. Directly reducing the primary driver of climate change which is carbon Dioxide is important.
CO₂ sequestration directly removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, offering a decisive tool to slow climate change and protect the planet’s future.
Through our industrial-scale facility, we aim to remove CO₂ at scale—capturing and sequestering up to 15,000 tons of atmospheric CO₂, delivering a meaningful and measurable climate impact.

Biochar
At our industrial scale facility we transform the organic agricultural waste material into a stable form of carbon that can be used to enhance soil quality, reduce waste, and help mitigate climate change.
-
We take leverage of continuous pyrolysis technology.
-
Producing Biochar from biomass waste mainly using rice husk.
-
Ready to offset 15,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.
Our Facility
Punarv has developed an industrial-scale biochar production facility designed to support large-scale agricultural needs. Our scalable technology is tailored to serve India’s vast farmlands, enabling efficient and sustainable solutions for farmers across the country.

About Punarv
The word Punarv stems from the Sanskrit word पुनर् (Punar) which means renewal, revival, or restoration.
At PUNARV we strive to revive the environment and create a balance between the environment and industry. For this we harness the power of biochar to combat climate change by permanently sequestering carbon, restoring soil health, and enabling sustainable agriculture. We are committed to turning organic waste into climate-positive solutions—helping farmers thrive while healing the planet.
